Geological ServicesHzW's Geological Services Group provides services to lending institutions and private/municipal sectors in areas such as Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, and hydrogeologic investigations. In order to provide quality service in these areas, the Geological Group is comprised of several areas of discipline, which include geologists, hydrogeologists, and environmental scientists. The Geological Group's diversity allows HzW to maintain a competitive edge in a complex and evolving field. All Phase I Environmental Site Assessments are conducted to comply with the most recent version of the American Society of Testing Materials Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessment Process, the VAP standard or the EPA's All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) rule. Phase I ESAs prepared by HzW are designed to satisfy due diligence requirements associated with property mergers and acquisitions or property transfers and redevelopment. Through the Phase I ESA process, HzW assists our Clients in determining if a Phase II is warranted.
