HZW was founded in 1987 in response to the growing need for cost-effective environmental services. Over the years, we have enjoyed steady growth by providing quality services and traditional value. Our vision for the future is to continue growth in a managed fashion – expanding and developing new skills as the needs of our clients evolve.

Since 2005, HZW is pleased to be recognized by the State of Ohio as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise/EDGE-Certified Company. HZW is also certified as a Female Business Enterprise (FBE) by the City of Cleveland and a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) by Cuyahoga County. Our professional staff includes geologists, engineers, biologists, chemists, industrial hygienists, environmental specialists, and support staff with the technical expertise and experience to address a wide range of environmental situations.
